Dealing with my stressors
Here
it is, my first blog. Will it be eloquent? Probably not.
I'm busy at the moment
thinking about my life and how I can best live it. The world is a stressful
place. Work stress, homelife stress, physical stress and even church stress.
When they all come together, they can make the perfect stress storm.
A
stressicane.
That's where I have been. A category 4 stressicane. I believe that
we can see stressicanes coming, but for some reason, we never prepare for them.
Why is that? Could it be...satan?
The real question is what will you do with
your stressicane? Will you huddle in fear while the stressors whirl against
you, or will you seek refuge from your storm? I sat for awhile. Terrified of my
stressors. They sought to destroy me from every angle.
Now I sit, and seek to
let them go. They cannot harm that which is truly me. They cannot take away my
crooked smile even though a stray tear may wind its way down a dimpling cheek.
I rest in the arms of someone who is capable of calming the storm, or teaching
me while we watch the winds blow together.
Either way, my stressicane has
become my blessicane. I love Him for that. Even if I'm only sitting in the eye.
This blog is dedicated to my sister, Z, of whom I am in awe...
When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.

Psalm 94:19
I'm in tears because these words are so profound and so truthful so truthful I'm so happy that you decided to do this blog and please continue because I just bring to his heart is big big hope this big big joy and I know that the same way that you was able to pass the storm
ReplyDeleteIn search of the truth of my life in search of that feeling where can you read or talk or speak about our Lord and Savior your hands and your body trembles when you feel the presence of the Holy Spirit I never had that until you pray for me and all I want to know is more and more and more and more and more and more
